Undergraduate Admitted Students

Congratulations! On behalf of South Carolina State University Office of Admissions and Recruitment, we would like to welcome you to Bulldog Country for the 2019 Spring Semester!


  • Official Transcripts must be in by DECEMBER 15, 2018.
  • Enrollment fee of $160 must be paid by DECEMBER 3, 2018.
  • Fee includes Housing deposit and Orientation fee.
  • Payments will be accepted by the Cashier’s Office:
  • Via phone payment: (803) 536-8529 or (803) 536-8546
  • Debit card and Credit Card payments will be accepted via phone.
  • Cashier’s Check, or Money Order will be accepted via mail.
  • 300 College Street/P.O. Box 7425, Orangeburg SC 29117.
  • Students MUST provide Banner ID (900 Number) and indicate the semester that they will enroll.

Housing Application:

Room and Board selection is based on a first come - first serve basis. Your enrollment fee must be paid. http://www.scsu.edu/forms/oha/

Medical Records:

Mandatory Health Insurance:

Please visit our health services link to complete the health insurance form.

Financial Aid Information:

  • You must complete your 2019 -20 FAFSA, to qualify for aid and scholarships. The application opened October 1, 2018.
  • The code for South Carolina State University is 003446.
  • Please visit www.fafsa.ed.gov to complete your application.
  • When you complete your FAFSA be sure to use the new IRS Data Retrieval Tool to automatically complete parts of the application. With this tool, you can use your completed tax return to fill out parts of your application automatically! It’s easy, helps avoid mistakes and can make the entire aid application process easier. Use this tool to demonstrate or confirm that your tax related information on the FAFSA is completely accurate.
  • You will be notified via your University assigned e-mail address when your financial aid award is available to review in Bulldog Connection.
  • Transfer students should be sure that final transcripts from all prior institutions are received at the University to ensure that eligibility for all financial aid programs can be correctly determined.
