SC State University’s Career Center Presents Graduate and Professional Schools’ Day

Wednesday, October 19, 2011

SC State University’s Career Center continues its winning streak to assist SC State students. After providing jobs and co-op opportunities during their Career Fair, the Career Center will now host its annual Graduate and Professional Schools’ Day on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Garnet and Blue Room of the K.W. Green Student Center, located on the campus of SC State University.

According to Joseph Thomas, director for the Career Center, Graduate and Professional Schools’ Day is prudent.  “In an already struggling economy, it’s almost a necessity to pursue further education to compete with the current workforce; because of this, Graduate & Professional Schools’ Day is extremely beneficial for our students’ ultimate career advancement,” says Thomas.
