Weekly briefing

August 27, 2021

COVID Check testing for unvaccinated students, staff, and faculty was launched the week of August 16.

Symptomatic testing and asymptomatic voluntary testing are available for students, faculty, and staff.

With the uptick in cases in South Carolina and across the U.S. among individuals who have not been vaccinated and the spread of COVID-19 variants, SC State University continues to recommend that everyone get vaccinated and report your vaccination to SC State University.

If you have not yet received a vaccination, you can get vaccinated at any time even if you have already gotten an approved exemption for SC State University’s vaccine requirement.
