Angel Urie-Dobson is an accounting professional and entrepreneur who has built her
career around helping individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations navigate
financial management and business operations. As owner of Ask Angel Consulting, she
provides accounting, business consulting, tax education, notary services, insurance,
credit counseling, QuickBooks consulting, and tax software support. She also serves
as Comptroller for the Kidz4Kidz nonprofit organization, applying her financial expertise
to support its operations and mission.
Throughout her career, Urie-Dobson has gained experience across accounting, tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll administration, financial reporting, insurance, and business operations. Her professional background includes roles with Hoods Tax, Accountemps, Jackson Hewitt, United Insurance Company of America, St. James Presbyterian Church, OCAB Community Action Agency, and Just Taxes, Inc. Across these positions, she has prepared financial statements and tax returns, managed payroll and budgets, reconciled accounts, maintained financial records, and assisted businesses and individuals with accounting and tax-related services.
Building on her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from South Carolina State University, where she graduated magna cum laude, Urie-Dobson has continued to expand her professional expertise through business ownership and specialized certifications and services.
