Daynisha S. Greene-Williams is a social worker and counseling professional dedicated to supporting students, strengthening families, and improving student well-being. As an Attendance Interventionist with Orangeburg County School District, she collaborates with school personnel, families, and community partners to improve student attendance through positive behavioral interventions, targeted family engagement, and ongoing support. She serves as a liaison between the school and community, working to address barriers that impact student attendance and success.
Greene-Williams has more than 16 years of professional experience serving children, families, and communities in educational, behavioral health, and social service settings. Her career includes roles as a School Based Clinician, Behavior Modification Specialist, Family Services Coordinator, and teacher, where she provided behavioral health counseling, family support, crisis intervention, behavior management, and developmental services. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with educators, administrators, mental health professionals, and families to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of children and adolescents.
A graduate of South Carolina State University, Greene-Williams earned a Bachelor of Social Work and is currently pursuing a Master of Counselor Education at her alma mater after earning a Master of Community Counseling from Webster University. She continues to demonstrate her commitment to student success through her work in education, counseling, and social services while remaining actively involved in professional organizations that support the counseling and social work professions.
