Empowering Student Success
Jasmine Williams is an educator and career development professional committed to helping
students succeed both inside and outside the classroom. As a Secondary English Teacher
with the Beaufort County School District, she develops engaging instruction aligned
with curriculum standards, supports diverse learning needs through IEP implementation,
fosters a safe and structured learning environment, and collaborates with families,
colleagues, and support staff to promote student achievement. As a team lead, she
also facilitates IEP meetings and works to strengthen family engagement in the educational
process.
Williams' experience also includes serving as a Global Career Development Facilitator with the Colleton County School District, where she planned career fairs, college tours, and educational field trips that introduced K–12 students to college, military, and workforce opportunities. She built partnerships with community leaders, businesses, and higher education institutions while providing career guidance, monitoring student progress, and developing strategies to enhance school performance. Across her educational career, she has combined classroom instruction, leadership, and career readiness initiatives to help students prepare for future success.
Committed to continuous professional growth, Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts in Professional English from South Carolina State University and a Master of Education in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University. She has further strengthened her expertise through professional certifications in career development, bullying prevention, and student counseling, while serving as a Lowcountry Regional Advisor and State Advisory Council Member for SC State 1890 Research & Extension.
