The University Computing and Information Technology Services unit (UCITS) enhances the academic environment and supports student success. Some of their services include Bulldog Connection (Online Student Portal), Help Desk Services, One-Card (Student ID Cards), SCSU Apps portal, and SCSU e2Campus.

Account Setup

UCITS Department has two forms available that will need to complete to get you connected to the SCSU Bulldog Network. Our turnaround time for receiving your active directory/network account and e-mail information is seven business days. When your account has been created you will be notified by a technician to schedule a time and date to have your computer configured on our network.

  • You will get access to various network services, including Email, Banner, Blackboard (if applicable), and our SCSU Apps portal.
  • Your account information is also used to log onto any computer on our network. To access your email off–campus, go to https://apps.scsu.edu. For on-campus access, use Microsoft Outlook which is installed on your office machine.
  • Your Banner 9000/900 ID number, your username & password and your email address will be sent to you via a confidential letter from UCITS. This information gives you access to your personal account information, payroll information, employee leave, faculty/staff information, and more.

  • If you forget your banner number and pin, please send an email to helpme@scsu.edu or contact Carolyn Riley at 803-536-8372.
  • If you need assistance with such services as email, networking issues, telephone services, or setting up or configuring your PC, please submit a request to our help desk by sending an email detailing your issue to helpme@scsu.edu. Please include your name and contact information.
  • If you are in an office that does not have a phone or data jack, please contact Alberta Gilmore at 803-536-8386 or email helpme@scsu.edu  or contact the helpdesk to schedule a site visit.
  • If you have issues concerning your password, account information, or termination of account information please contact Carolyn Riley at 803-536-8372 or via email at helpme@scsu.edu.
