How do I register for classes?

  1. Meet with your academic advisor.
    • Students are required to schedule an appointment with their academic advisor to complete the registration process and verify the availability of necessary classes.
    • First-time freshmen register with the assistance of the First-Year Experience Program.
  2. Clear all holds.
  3. Register for classes.

What if I want to go to SC State in the summer?

  • All summer classes for 2025 will be taught entirely online or through a videoconferencing platform.
  • Registration is open now for Summer Sessions.
  • Ist Summer Session classes will run May 15, 2025 – June 23, 2025.
  • 2nd Summer Session Classes will run June 25, 2025 – July 31, 2025.
