Working at SC State University
Positioned in the heart of South Carolina’s Midlands, SC State is just an hour’s drive from the state capital of Columbia and the beaches of historic Charleston. Orangeburg is known as the “Garden City” because of the beautiful Edisto Gardens preserve right next to downtown. SC State’s beautiful campus is adorned with palmettos, date palms, crepe myrtles and other trees. Our rose garden adjacent to the Kirkland W. Green Student Center is kept in pristine condition.
