The Office of the President is responsible for the leadership, policy, and oversight
of SC State. That means they make the decisions about the day-to-day running of the
school and form the strategic plan and vision that will guide SC State into the future,

Meet Our Communications Team
The Division of Finance and Administration provides operational oversight and fiscal
direction supporting the overall excellence of South Carolina State University. Led
by Dr. Gerald Hubbard Smalls, the Vice President of Finance and administration/CFO,
the division delivers integrated support for the operations of the university in the
key areas of finance, operations, human resources, information technology, facilities
and space planning.
