an hour, starting with a presentation detailing all the university has to offer you.
Touring our beautiful campus, you'll get a sense of life here, get a taste of camaraderie that bonds our students together, and feel the excitement of our campus culture.
Walking our campus, you may hear our nationally renowned band the Marching 101 practicing for a game or a parade. You'll get to take a look at the Kirkland W. Green Student Center, the hub of life on campus, featuring game rooms, lounges, restaurants, meeting rooms, video games, and a six-lane bowling center. Maybe you'll spot some sorority or fraternity members taking part in a service or social activity, or spot students from one of our many clubs and organizations pursuing their passion. Visit in the spring and you may even get to take part in our annual Bulldog Fest, a weeklong carnival-like celebration featuring music, food, and sports.
Touring our buildings and halls, you will see the places where lifelong memories are made and have the opportunity to hear from and meet the faculty members who will be teaching you and speak with the students who will be your peers. Most importantly, you will experience the tradition and legacy of SC State's status as a historically black college or university (HBCU), and grow to understand the immediate and lasting bond shared between our students.

- Tours are usually about an hour long but may be shortened or canceled because of weather conditions.
- Residence Hall tours are contingent upon availability and must be requested at the time of scheduling.
- All visitors must be 16 years of age or older.
- Tours are primarily spent outdoors walking the campus, so we suggest you dress comfortably in shoes that you can walk easily in.
