A designation as a leading cybersecurity degree program

SC State's Center of Excellence in Cyberscurity has been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education by the Department of Homeland Security and the National Security Agency Center. This honor means that SC State is a leader in helping increase the understanding of cyber defense technology, policy, and practices—all in an effort to prevent and respond to cybersecurity events. A unique partnership with IBM

At SC State, you’ll have access to evolving technology and personnel in the growing field of protecting information through our collaboration with IBM. Through this partnership, our undergraduate degree in cybersecurity students are able to access multiple software as a service (SaaS) models in the IBM cloud, take part in real-world simulation cyberattacks, and consult with leaders in the field.
