What You Will Study in Elementary Education

At SC State, our 36-credit-hour master’s degree in elementary education starts off with three foundational courses—Introduction to Data Analysis, Understanding Educational Research, and Learning Theories for Teachers. From there, you’ll take four professional core courses and pursue a research project. Your core courses will include:
