In fact, our bachelor’s in sociology courses have a 14:1 student-to-faculty ratio—with 20 students or fewer in 60% of classes.

Faculty with varying expertise and backgrounds
Within our sociology programs, you’ll learn—and thrive—alongside faculty members who are experts in the field. Our faculty bring experiences that span the study of sociology—ranging from medical sociology to human sexuality, neurological study to social problems. Our educators are also leading in the field. For instance, Assistant Professor Alison McLetchie is president of the Society of Ethnomusicology’s Southeast and Caribbean chapter, which promotes the research, study, and performance of music in all historical periods and cultural contexts.
