Background
Diamond Moorehead has been working at SC State, her alma mater, since April 2022. Moorehead graduated from this University in May 2016 with a Music Industry Degree with a concentration in voice. During her undergraduate years she was a part of the gospel choir United Voices of Christ, Concert Choir, and she sang with various groups as well as personal gigs. Moorehead was also involved with the ministry council where she discussed religion and came up with ideas to minister on campus. Moorehead was also a part of Theater of the Oppressed with the late Shannon Jones where we took real life situations (mainly college experiences) and made it theater. She sang for two Coronations during her undergrad years accompanied by Jarvis Jett.
