Franklin Pressley

Dr. Franklin Pressley directs and monitors the planning and implementation of co-curricular programs and activities to enhance student’s life skills by providing social, cultural, intellectual, recreational and spiritual programs. He serves in the advisory capacity to the campus student leadership impacting 3,500 on campus and commuting students daily. He facilitates chartering, registration, and operations of student organizations. He maintains confidential student records and provides individual assessments quarterly. He oversees and monitors budgets and maintains a variety of records regarding student clubs and events. He designs, develops and administers policies and programs for over 150 student organizations. He also coordinates department-sponsored events, persuading students and advisors in other organizations to participate in events. He serves as advisor to the Student Government Association, Campus Activities Board and Royal Court. He facilitates the Student Leadership Training Program which is designed to help students develop and enhance lifelong leadership skills.

Pressley has been at SC State since 2010, having served as office manager/Greek life coordinator and coordinator of student activities.
