Deeply committed to service and mentorship, Dr. Bookert has supported students and colleagues at every stage of their journeys. She has led youth coding camps and cybersecurity workshops for K–12 students, guided undergraduates in research and professional development, and mentored advanced graduate students and early-career researchers through the Building Future Faculty in STEM program. She has also provided scholarships and educational resources to South Carolina students. Her mentorship creates pathways for students to build skills, gain hands-on experience, and achieve success in their future careers.
