Get Ahead with Degree Programs You Won't Find Anywhere Else in South Carolina

As part of our wide range of subjects and departments, we offer a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs that aren't available anywhere else in South Carolina and, in some cases, the southeastern region. For example, we are home to the only Bachelor of Science program in nuclear engineering in South Carolina and at an HBCU. We also offer a unique Bachelor of Science degree in physics with an option or concentration in Medical Physics.

On the graduate degree front, we offer South Carolina's only Master of Science degree in transportation and the only Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Agribusiness. Through our competitive and top-ranked Department of Education, we are one of three universities in South Carolina offering a Doctor of Education degree with a concentration in Educational Administration and one of two schools in the state with an accredited master's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology. In fact, SC State is ranked third nationwide in graduating minority students with a Doctor of Education degree.
