Known as "The Divine Nine," historically Black Greek-letter oraganizations are an integral part of campus life at colleges and universities across the country, especially at HBCUs. Greeks are among the most-involved students at SC State, and many of them hold leadership positions in the Student Government Association, the Royal Court, the Campus Activities Board and other organizations.

At SC State, you will spot our Greeks everywhere, especialy on and around the Student Center Plaza, where each organization maintains a plot signifying their role in campus life. You will see them performing acts of community service, cheering on the Bulldogs at football and basketball games, and showing off their synchonized step skills.

And the Greek experience doesn't stop at graduation. Every year at Homecoming, Greek alumni return to campus for reunions and good times with their younger peers. Each organization has an immense national network that pays off in career opportunities, community connections and more. For many, it's a lifelong bond.
