Dr. Wilbur B. Shuler (Class of '68) is a member of the South Carolina State University Board of Trustees from Orangeburg,
South Carolina. He serves as chair of the Finance and Administration/Operations Committee
since joining the board in 2018.
Why do you serve SC State? "To help strengthen the University's position and the properly reporting the University's finances."

Background
Trustee Shuler was president for business and finance at Fort Valley State College (1987-1991), vice president for fiscal and administrative affairs at The University of North Alabama (1991-2001), vice for business and administrative affairs at Georgia Highlands College (2001-2008), vice president for business and administrative affairs at South Georgia College (2010-2013).
He and his wife have been married since 1964. They have two children, Adrienne A. Shuler, MD, and Myron Shuler, a high school counselor. All are graduates of SC State.
