Video: BECT Greenhouse plant sale set for Monday, Dec. 8, on SC State campus

ORANGEBURG, S.C. -South Carolina State University's BECT Institute — the Institute of Business, Environment, Communication and Transportation — has opened the BECT Greenhouse behind the planetarium, near the ROTC building.

Since 2022, the institute has expanded hands-on learning opportunities across campus, including greenhouse activities that support botany students and visiting K-12 groups.

The plant sale takes place on the second Monday of each month. The next sale is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 8, from 3-6 p.m.

Visitors are also welcome to stop by anytime the greenhouse is open.
