SC State hosts ‘Wellness and Wealth’ event to promote financial and physical well-being
ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The South Carolina State University Counseling and Self-Development Center, in partnership with the Office of Student Life and Leadership and "A Walking Vibe," is to host “Wellness and Wealth at SC State” on March 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
This dynamic event will focus on promoting both financial and physical well-being, offering a variety of activities designed to engage and inspire students, faculty, and staff.
To ensure the event meets the needs and interests of participants, attendees are encouraged to register here and complete the survey here.
The event will feature financial wellness discussions, offering valuable insights and strategies for managing personal finances. The Chase Bank session at 11:00 AM will dive into key topics related to financial literacy and money management.
Attendees can also enjoy fitness yoga sessions on the Lawn of the Counseling Building from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, led by experienced instructors guiding participants through refreshing yoga exercises designed to reduce stress and promote wellness.
Additionally, the event will feature a DJ providing music throughout the day, and food trucks will be on-site, offering a variety of delicious food options for attendees to enjoy.
