Labs & Facilities

• All Cybersecurity courses include hands-on and virtual laboratory experiences.
• The hands-on (physical) laboratory stations are Marcraft group and deal with:
  • Application security, Industrial and IoT security,
  • Enterprise security, Network security and ethical hacking.
  • Computer Forensics
• Established virtual on-line laboratory designed using NetLab+
• Lab uses a dedicated internet connection and can be accessed remotely. Lab includes experiments on NISGTC Security+, NISGTC Network Security, NISGTC Forensics, NISGTC Ethical Hacking, CSSIA CompTIA Security+ and with step-by-step instructions.

Cyberlab 1

Room 231 has 24 Dell OptiPlex DFF Desktops (Model: 3010 and 3020, Intel Core i5-3470/4590 CPU @3.1 GHz, 8 GB Memory and 500 GB Hard Drive) and 7 industrial control panels. The industrial panels are used to provide hands-on experience in Physical Security. ECSC 231 is used for Cyber Security Laboratory related hands-on activities virtually. This virtual platform is from the NDG NetLAB+ . This platform provides our students with laboratory experiences on number of cybersecurity and computer science topics in an online environment. Our students conduct experiments in NISGTC Security+, NISGTC Network Security, NISGTC Forensics, NISGTC Ethical Hacking, CSSIA CompTIA Security+. This laboratory is also used by our academic partners at a distance.

Cyberlab 2

Room 310 has 7 Dell Precision Tower 5800 workstation computers (Intel Xeon E5-1607 v3 CPU @ 3.10 GHz, 8 GB Memory and 500 GB Hard Drive) running Windows 10 Pro and Ubuntu (Dual Boot). ECSC 310 houses cybersecurity laboratory units/workstations – 3 Industrial Control Panels, 3 Forensics Units (3 Dell OptiPlex 780 desktop computers with Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 CPU @ 3.0 GHz, 8 GB Memory and 1TB Hard Drive) running Windows 7 Pro), and 2 enterprise/network security units, all from Marcraft (https://tech-labs.com/products/marcraft-cyber-security-essentials-concepts-practices). These workstations/units are used to provide our students with hands-on laboratory experiences on application security, industrial control/IoT security, enterprise security, forensics. network security and ethical hacking.
