SC State recognizes 1,000 students on Spring 2025 Semester honors lists

Students from South Carolina and 26 other U.S. states are recognized alongside several international students.

ORANGEBURG, S.C. – South Carolina State University has announced its Spring 2025 Semester President’s Honors List, Dean’s Honor List and Honor Roll, recognizing more than 1,000 students for achieving high grade point averages.
 
The lists are available on SC State’s website at www.scsu.edu/academics/honor_rolls. The lists are organized by each student’s state and hometown. Students from South Carolina and 26 other U.S. states are included. Several SC State international students also are recognized.
 
Categories:

• President’s Honor List. The South Carolina State University President’s Honor List recognizes undergraduate students with a grade point average of 4.00 earned on a minimum of 12 credited semester hours.
• Dean’s Honor List. The South Carolina State University Dean’s Honors List recognizes undergraduate students with a grade point average of 3.50-3.99 or higher earned on a minimum of 12 credited semester hours.
• Honor Roll. The South Carolina State University Honor Roll recognizes undergraduate students with a grade point average of 3.00-3.49 or higher earned on a minimum of 12 credited semester hours.
