SC State’s My Brother’s Keeper launches suit drive to help students dress for professional settings
The organization seeks new or gently used suits and blazers.
ORANGEBURG, S.C. – South Carolina State University’s My Brothers Keeper Program is seeking community
donations for a suit drive to help male students present themselves professionally
for career opportunities, internships, and leadership roles.
My Brother’s Keeper seeks new or gently used suits and blazers for the drive set for
Feb. 14-March 14.
Donation drop-off information:
- Items may be dropped off at SC State’s Moss Hall room 115.
- Monday – Thursday: 10:30 a.m.– 6 p.m.
- Friday: 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

A well-fitted suit or blazer can significantly impact a student’s confidence and success, allowing them to make strong first impressions at interviews, networking events, and leadership engagements. By supporting this initiative, donors are directly contributing to the growth and future achievements of SC State men.

The My Brother’s Keeper Program at SC State is a mentorship and support initiative
dedicated to the academic, professional, and personal success of young men, particularly
students of color. My Brother’s Keeper provides guidance, resources, and opportunities
